Berkshire All-American Lacrosse is considered the finest in the county because of our coaching staff. Our Camp Directors are Jeff Stripp, former All-American from Williams College and George McCormack, current head coach for Williams College Men’s Lacrosse Team. Our Directors have coached at all levels of the game. In addition, we have collected the best coaches and players in the sport, skilled in all aspects of the game. Each coach is dedicated to the personal development and improvement of each athlete, from beginners to top high school players.

George McCormack, Director

george-mccormack-headshotGeorge McCormack was named head coach of the Ephs in 2003.  Prior to that George was the Assistant for the men’s lacrosse team for three years.

McCormack received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Ithaca College in 1987 and his Master of Education Degree from Boston University in 2007.  While at Ithaca he played both lacrosse and football and in his senior year played for the National Championship in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl.  Prior to coming to Williams, McCormack previously coached at Union College, Norwich University, Boston College, Ithaca College and in N.S.W. Australia. While at Union, McCormack was named the 1999 Liberty League Lacrosse Coach of the Year.

In 2008 the fruits of McCormack’s hard work and diligent recruiting began paying dividends as the Ephs won the NESCAC Championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time. McCormack was rewarded for his team’s successful season by being named 2008 NESCAC Coach of the Year and 2008 NEILA Coach of the Year.

At Williams, McCormack also serves as an assistant professor of physical education and is the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for the football team.
